No, you don't need to register 10-day trial
version of any of our products. When the trial
period is over you will receive notification and
product will no longer work. You can activate it
again only if you buy it.

We would happily offer 10-day trial period
like we do for other products, but we are
limited by the license agreement with Ward
Systems, that prohibits trial periods.

Are version upgrades free of charge or not?
Major upgrades (for example from version
5.9.15 to 6.0.0) are not free of charge. The
price of the upgrade depends on the package.
Minor upgrades are free of charge.
How to upgrade to the current version of the
product?
1. Uninstall your current version of TraderXL
Pro (DownloaderXL, AnalyzerXL) from
Start->Programs->TraderXL Pro->Uninstall
2. Download the latest version from

3. Install downloaded file.
How to upgrade from the old-style 10-digit
key to the new-style 25-digit key?
Upgrade from the old-style 10-digit
activation key to the new-style 25-digit
activation key is not free of charge any more.
If you would like to purchase the new-style key,
please send the request to
support@analyzerxl.com including your old
registration information (order number is
preferable). The price of the upgrade is 50% of
the full product price.
How to install software to another machine?
Download and install the latest version of
the software from
http://www.analyzerxl.com/download.htm and
activate it using your registration key.
How to uninstall the software?
If you need to uninstall the software you
should do the following:
Start->Programs->AnalyzerXL->Un-install
AnalyzerXL.

I downloaded your software and received a
warning from Norton Antivirus that there is a
virus called Bloodhound.ExcelMacro.
Our software is using code, which is writing
Macro commands into user's spreadsheet and that
part of code is understood by Norton as
Bloodhound.MacroInsert virus.
We have the following note on the download page:
Note to Norton Antivirus users. Prior to
installing TraderXL Pro Package, add an
exclusion from Norton virus scanning for the
backtestingxl.xla file to prevent false virus
alerts or automatic removal of the required
backtesting.xla file. This is necessary, because
Norton Antivirus reacts on backtestingxl.xla
file as if it was infected with a macro virus.
It reacts on a part of code that writes code to
VBA project when you first time open Strategy
Editor or click "Add new strategy" button. All
our software is tested for viruses with AVP by
Kaspersky Lab

Can I get code of functions of AnalyzerXL so
that I can extend and modify its functionality
to my own specifications?
No, it is not possible to get the codes of
AnalyzerXL functions, but you can use them as a base of
your own functions. You can create your own
functions if you have knowledge of VBA.
I typed the registration code in but it
didn’t activate the product.
Try
to enter the registration information again. Use
copy and paste feature instead of typing it in
manually.

There, on the bottom of the Dialog Box check the
box near: "Trust access to Visual Basic Project"
I am receiving the following error message

You can receive such error message when
incorrect range of inputs and outputs is
entered. For example "A1:ABC123". Correct form
is "Sheet1!A2:A50".
